Scroll down and tap Cancel Subscription. Confirm when prompted. You keep access until the current billing period ends β€” the subscription simply does not renew after that date.

Subscription not showing here?If a subscription does not appear under Settings β†’ Subscriptions, it was not set up through Apple. Common examples: Netflix (if you subscribed on their website), Spotify (if signed up on Spotify's website), Amazon Prime. These must be cancelled directly on the service's own website or app settings.

Check for Forgotten Subscriptions

The Subscriptions page often reveals subscriptions people have forgotten about. It is worth checking once a month β€” the average person has 2–4 active app subscriptions they are no longer actively using.

Frequently Asked Questions

Generally no β€” Apple does not automatically refund unused time on cancelled subscriptions. You keep access until the period ends. For refund requests, go to reportaproblem.apple.com and select the charge β€” Apple reviews refund requests case by case and does grant them for accidental purchases or unused services sometimes.
Contact the company directly β€” their website usually has a subscription management page or cancellation link. Check your emails for the original subscription confirmation which should include a link to manage or cancel. Failing that, contact your bank to dispute or block the charge.
