How to Cancel Spotify Premium

Important: You cannot cancel from the Spotify app on iPhone or Android β€” Apple and Google handle those subscriptions separately. You must cancel through the Spotify website or through your phone's subscription settings depending on how you signed up.

If You Signed Up Directly with Spotify

  1. 1

Go to spotify.com/account in a browser

Log in to your Spotify account. This must be done in a browser β€” the app does not show billing options.

  2. 2

    Click Your Plan

Find Your Plan or Subscription in the account menu.

  3. 3

Click Change Plan β†’ Cancel Premium

Select Change Plan, then choose Cancel Premium. Confirm the cancellation. You will see the date your Premium ends β€” you keep access until then.

If You Signed Up Through Apple (iPhone/iPad)

  1. 4

Settings β†’ your name β†’ Subscriptions

On your iPhone go to Settings β†’ tap your Apple ID name at the top β†’ Subscriptions. Find Spotify and tap Cancel Subscription.

If You Signed Up Through Google Play (Android)

  1. 5

Play Store β†’ Subscriptions β†’ Spotify β†’ Cancel

Open Google Play Store β†’ tap your profile icon β†’ Payments and subscriptions β†’ Subscriptions β†’ Spotify β†’ Cancel subscription.
